About The Creator Cal Heath

Hi! I’m Cal Heath, I’m an illustrator and graphic designer living in the beautiful south of Tasmania, and I absolutely LOVE it here! Every day, I’m inspired by my stunning surroundings and my deep connection to Tassie’s unique plants and animals—they feel like family to me.

That’s why I created a special range of Christmas and greeting cards featuring our wonderful creatures and wildflowers. Each card is “A Little Tassie Treasure!”—perfect for sending to a loved one, framing, or simply keeping for yourself.

The idea came to me when I couldn’t find Christmas cards that felt right. Most were too gaudy or designed for a northern hemisphere Christmas. I wanted cards that reflect where WE live, so we can feel at home during the festive season and share a piece of Tassie with loved ones near and far.

I also care deeply about the environment, so my cards are printed in Hobart on 100% recycled card and come with recycled paper envelopes. I sell them in packs and use compostable cellophane and tape for packaging.

Working in Tasmania is a privilege I cherish. Designing in a studio by the sea, surrounded by natural beauty, makes Tasmania a paradise for me—a place of endless ideas and inspiration.
