Refund and Returns Policy

  1. When you order, please enter the requested delivery date during checkout. We will make every attempt to deliver on or around this date. However, this cannot be guaranteed as we depend on Australia Post and Couriers.
  2. Once your order has been completed, we are unable to make changes to your order.
  3. Due to the perishable nature of the contents in our boxes, we do not offer refunds or exchanges.
  4. We package all gift baskets in strong boxes specifically made for posting so that items stay safe and arrive undamaged.
  5. Deliveries are made during normal business hours determined by Australia Post.
  6. Deliveries to Tasmanian Hospitals can be delivered via courier within 2 business days (for the same charge as postage), except for hospitals on the west coast of Tasmania.
  7. Deliveries are not available on weekends or public holidays.
  8. Once your order has been handed over to Australia Post or the nominated courier delivery becomes their responsibility.  Gourmet Gift Hampers Tasmania are not liable or responsible for any delays or lost/stolen orders in transit.
  9. As our gifts contain perishable items and often need to be in the hands of the receiver on a specific date, if a recipient is not available to take delivery, gifts will be left in a safe place, or a collection card should be left by Australia Post for collection at their local post office. By ordering a gift, you give authority to leave.
  10. Please be aware that a re-delivery fee will be charged if you provide an incorrect address. Therefore, it is crucial that you verify the delivery address you have provided before placing your order. If a parcel is delivered successfully to the wrong address due to an incorrect delivery address, it will not be eligible for a refund.
  11. If delivering to a hospital, please ensure the patient will still be there within the delivery timeframe and that the hospital is accepting deliveries. Also, remember to use the patient’s correct full name, which they would use during admission.
  12. Due to high postage costs and customs regulations, we do not deliver outside of Australia.
