Little Tasmanian Katy’s Garden

$19.95

Hardcover board book.

Katy’s Garden is the second publication in the Little Tasmanian series, a project initiated and managed by Brand Tasmania and a key component of the Tasmanian Government’s It Takes a Tasmanian Village: Child and Youth Wellbeing Strategy.

Using the message ‘someone like you did it, and you can do it too’, this is an inspirational book for young children, beautifully illustrated and designed by Tasmanian illustrator Shiloh Longbottom.

Join Katy and an array of Tasmanian animals on a journey to create a garden to share with all their friends. Along the way, she meets four inspiring Tasmanians who help her achieve her dream: John Kamara (refugee and migrant advocate), Mars Buttfield-Addison (computer scientist and science communicator), David Foster (world champion woodchopper and community advocate), and Carleeta Thomas (proud pakana / Tasmanian Aboriginal woman, wukalina Walk guide). Can you find the Tasmanian native bee hidden on every page?
