Dare to be Different was borne through the desire to create more cost effective options for my wife to burn!

A graphic design business owner (graphic designer for 25 years) making candles is an outlet that gets me off the computer whilst still allowing me to be creative!

Whether making to burn at home, providing stock to our wonderful wholesalers, or selling at local markets, I love the whole process including design and handmaking the labels and packaging.

Why the name ‘Dare to be Different’?

Closely aligning with my graphic design business… as the accompanying taglines reiterate… it’s about being true to yourself, thinking differently and not ‘following’ the norm that society often dictates.
